All eight candles now burn, and the menorah radiates with fullness. The eighth night of Hanukkah is not just a conclusion—it’s a commissioning. The Hebrew letter Chet (ח) symbolizes life, eternity, and new beginnings. It’s the doorway to overflow, the threshold to abundance.
In the Hebrew year 5786, this final night reminds us that the miracle of light was never meant to stay hidden. It was meant to multiply, to witness, to go forth. The eighth flame is not just one more—it’s the sign of eternal increase.
Chet is shaped like a gateway. Tonight, we step through it. We become the lampstands. We carry the light. We are the witnesses.
