Are we still building churches God never intended?
Psalm 127:1 says: “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
But for generations, we’ve constructed institutions that reflect power structures more than people-centered discipleship.
The early Church operated through shared life—not religious hierarchy.
We’ve heard sermons on Jezebel, but what about Diotrephes—who silenced voices in 3 John?
Or the Nicolaitans—whose hierarchical practices Jesus says He hates in Revelation?
This is not rebellion. It’s repentance.
It's reformation.
In this new post, I explore:
Church models that elevate Christ—not charisma
Breaking from hierarchy to shared leadership
Moving from performance to participation
What it would look like to build like Noah—by divine instruction, not tradition
