Hanukkah Day 5 – Dedication of the Temple

Reflection 

With five candles lit, the menorah begins to shine with fullness and purpose. The fifth night of Hanukkah draws us into the heart of the celebration: dedication. The word “Hanukkah” itself means “dedication,” and in the Hebrew year 5786, the fifth letter emphasis is Tav (ת), symbolizing truth, covenant, and completion. 

Tav is the final letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It marks the end of a journey, the sealing of a promise. On this night, we remember that we are not just recipients of light, we are temples of light, consecrated...
