📖 31-Day Proverbs Challenge — Day 6

Today’s Reading: Proverbs 6

Welcome to Day 6. Proverbs 6 is a wide‑ranging chapter that speaks to real‑life issues: financial traps, work ethic, harmful people, moral character, and the destructive pull of adultery.

As you read, let the chapter speak directly to your decisions, relationships, and daily choices.

✨ Step 1 — Identify Five Things That Stand Out

As you read Proverbs 6, write down five things that catch your attention. These might be:

• A warning about financial entanglements or co‑signing

• A lesson about diligence vs. laziness

• A description of malicious or divisive behavior

• A list of things God hates

• A warning about the dangers of adultery

• Anything that feels personal, timely, or convicting

Let the chapter highlight what you need to see today.

🌍 Step 2 — Connect the Chapter to Today

Find three things in Proverbs 6 that speak to our present moment: personally, nationally, or globally. Consider:

• What this chapter says about financial wisdom and avoiding risky entanglements

• How diligence (or the lack of it) affects your life, work, or goals

• How to recognize and avoid people who stir up trouble or manipulate others

• How moral character shapes families, communities, and nations

• What this chapter reveals about the consequences of adultery in any generation

Ask yourself: What in this chapter speaks directly to the world I’m navigating right now?

Your insight is the heart of this challenge.

🙏 Step 3 — Let It Shape Your Prayer

After reflecting, consider: How is this chapter directing my prayer for change today? Think about:

• Where you need wisdom in financial decisions

• Where diligence needs to grow in your habits or responsibilities

• Where you need protection from harmful influences or relationships

• Where character, integrity, or purity need strengthening

• Where you’re praying for healing or restoration in your community or nation

Let Proverbs 6 guide your conversation with God.

💬 Share Your Insights (Optional)

If you feel led, share one thing from your reflection in the comments. Your perspective may help someone else see the chapter in a new way.
