Reflection
Seven candles now burn, and the menorah glows with fullness. On this seventh night of Hanukkah, we enter the sacred rhythm of completion. The Hebrew letter Shin (ש) is associated with peace, fire, and divine presence. It marks the sealing of God’s name and the rest that follows victory.
In the Hebrew year 5786, this seventh night reminds us that rest is not passive, it is prophetic. It declares that the battle is won, the temple is cleansed, and the light is sustained. We rest not because we are tired, but because God has finished the work.
